Connectivity
EnterGroup's consolidated US server farm is located in Florida.
The first link between your email and the Internet is a complex "ring" of fiber-optic cable known as a Synchronous Optical Network, or SONET. The multiple SONET rings act as virtually indestructible links in a chain that connect to high bandwidth optical data pipes, which tie EnterGroup Servers to the Internet and the world. These circuits provide OC-12 and OC-3 grade connectivity to various backbone providers.
With a SONET ring, if the fiber optic cable is cut at any point, data is automatically re-routed along the opposite direction, providing self-healing access around failed network components. To further ensure your connectivity and redundancy, our network resides on multiple SONET rings.
EnterGroup servers are connected by a fiber optic network. EnterGroup's infrastructure is always physically protected with an advanced 3 stage secure access facility. In addition, a special oxygen depleting fire compression system and powerful back-up diesel generators further ensure our network is always available to you.
